What is 4/20?

4/20 is both another name for weed and a much-celebrated day within the cannabis community. The holiday originated with the story of a group of friends at a San Rafael, California high school who met outside after school to smoke a joint at 4:20 each day. The group later became friends with members of the Grateful Dead, and soon, the band began using the moniker for weed as well. Soon, the term was popularized by High Times, and the rest was history.
