Recreational cannabis is legal throughout the state of Massachusetts, including in Abington, MA. Abington has had zoning in place for recreational cannabis sales for a while, which means adult residents over 21 are free to purchase cannabis products and consume them in private.
You are allowed to purchase up to an ounce of flower, 500mg of edibles, or 5 grams of cannabis concentrates (which includes tinctures) per day in Massachusetts as a recreational customer. Even if you visit multiple dispensaries in a day, the same purchase limits apply.
You sure can. If you are visiting from another state, simply be sure to bring your valid, government-issued ID (like your driver’s license or state-issued ID) to verify you are 21 years of age or older. Just remember, taking cannabis back across state lines is still illegal.
